Power Gateway
A solar power gateway is the central communication and energy management hub for your
PV system. It bridges your solar hardware and the internet, routing power between your panels,
batteries, the grid, and your home.
It acts as both a smart manager for remote monitoring and an intelligent hardware.
A solar power gateway is not strictly compulsory for a standard solar PV system to function.
A basic, grid-tied setup only requires solar panels and an inverter to power your home and export excess electricity to the grid. You only need a gateway under specic circumstances.
